What is this?

A frozen inspection object intended to make one narrow proposition about SIW (Semantic Inquiry Workspace, Genesis AiX) inspectable and falsifiable. It is small, versioned and hash-identified, and it carries its claims, its limitations and (when ready) a runnable test object.

What is the proposition?

Intelligence is not authority.

The inspection question is: can current standing and authority be made a precondition to a protected consequential transition under the conditions that exist at the relevant decision boundary?

You can attack this at two implemented decision boundaries, on synthetic fixtures with a mock provider only:

  • R2's authorization of a MergeProposal INSPECTED → ACCEPTED transition.
  • R3's Canon admission decision.

Bind-time enforcement at model submission is specified but not implemented. It is a hypothesis, not a claim.

Two candidate defects are published, not hidden:

  • CAND-01: source-currentness enforcement.
  • CAND-02: authority/domain-qualified identity revalidation.

A pending remediation exists and is not accepted.

What SIW is not claiming

  • Not general alignment, and not universal safety.
  • Not universal route closure. Blocking one route proves nothing about equivalent routes.
  • Not proof that every consequence path is governed.
  • Not certification.
  • Not independent reproduction. No SIW semantic result in the accepted FIP record has established independent reproduction. Recorded semantic reruns are internal or same-lineage.
  • Not proof of production deployment.
  • Not live-provider or real-institution behavior.

What should I do first?

  1. Verify the package identity and hash against the manifest.
  2. Read the claims and the known limitations.
  3. Run the baseline.
  4. Alter one named condition.
  5. Rerun.
  6. Compare the result to the expected one.
  7. Preserve your evidence.
  8. Report a seam.

Executable instructions are PENDING. Portability of the test object (LIM-020) is not complete, so no commands are given here.

How to read the status labels

  • ACCEPTED: Genesis accepted the milestone. Trust it only within the stated ceiling.
  • CONDITIONAL: evidence from a milestone accepted only conditionally (currently M1D).
  • PENDING REVIEW: work exists but is not accepted. It is not relied on.
  • HYPOTHESIS: specified, not yet proven by implementation.
  • KNOWN LIMITATION: published and open until an accepted artifact closes it.
  • INTERNAL REPRODUCTION: a rerun within the same team or lineage. Not external and not independent.

What happens if I break it?

A reproduced failure is evidence, not an embarrassment to be removed. Valid failures, ambiguities and alternate routes are the intended inspection outcomes. They will be dispositioned openly, and claims change only through the published change rule.

The inspection and access boundary will be supplied with the frozen release. This draft creates no license, no access right and no release authority.
